News "Simple and rapid quantification of phospholipids for supramolecular membrane transport assays"

Currently, in research I have trouble in finding a way to quantify the concentration of lipids that I have in the liposomes since during the process I make some dilutions and I have some leaks in the starting material.

This article describes a way to determine the concentration of lipids by using 1-H NMR.  assay offers precise quantification of phospholipids in a relatively short time compared to established assays, which are more time-consuming and may have limitations in quantifying lipid mixtures or encounter interference with phosphate buffers. The NMR method involves transferring a portion of the LUV solution into a standard NMR tube, adding solvents, and acquiring proton NMR data to accurately measure phospholipid concentration with excellent precision and sufficient sensitivity.
